Here is the Story of my greatest life interruption.

Hello! I’m Will Pershing-a 42 year old Christ follower, dad, boyfriend, blogger and student (in that order) in a little town in central Missouri.I am the founder of Life Interrupted-a unique adventure in evangelism that I began on July 12th, 2006. Before I begin my day,and live out my calling, I have to drink my iced tea, eat my eggs and call my girlfriend just like any other guy who is courting a woman should be doing. This Blog is all about the bridge I try and walk between the ice tea and the interruptions of life.Feel free to contact me anytime.

Can you keep a Secret?

My bio page used to be written in third person. When I read it I found myself getting bored with me…and I wrote it!I figured if I, as the writer, got bored while reading my bio then the average Joe was probably falling asleep. So, I decided to abandon the standard approach and be myself.

Who I am

I am a regular guy. I,on a regular basis, do and say some really stupid stuff and at other times have come up with some pretty good ideas that have been able to help others with the challenges of the life interruptions that they were dealing with.Life interruptions have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of them have been pretty good and some have been not so good.

The thing I have discovered about life interruptions is that, at the center of those times, God is there trying to speak me. The problem is that I don’t always want to hear what God is saying, especially when things are rough.

I am a graduate of Western New Mexico University(1990) with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. I have done some graduate work in Bible, Theology and Music at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY and Arizona College of the Bible in Glendale, Arizona. I have also completed graduate coursework in education at Western New Mexico University. I am currently completing a Certificate in Biblical Studies from the Liberty Home Bible Institute of Liberty University. With all that said, I consider my Dad, who was a Pastor, my greatest teacher and humorously like to say that I earned my PhD at the University of the Kitchen Sink.
